About Us
One might say that our name is more than a play on the beautiful little girl carrying the basket of flowers down the aisle during the wedding ceremony. We have essentially been rooted, bloomed, and have grown into what is now an amazing and unique floral design company.
Having our roots in Sarasota as a wedding photographer, we have had the opportunity to capture magnificent weddings surrounded by the beauty of areas such as Siesta Key and Lido Beach. In addition to our photography, our general passion for all things natural including flowers and plants soon took our company in a new direction.
The Flower Girls of Sarasota bloomed from our desire to incorporate this passion into the wedding atmosphere. We now strive to personalize each wedding using artful floral design and décor. We consider each wedding an expression of the couple’s personality. We take pride in working closely with the bride and groom to ensure that their vision is brought to life.
We have now grown into providing full service wedding planning and design. Our love of nature continues to shine through, evident in our eco-friendly ceremony sites. Our artistic side is clearly displayed in our bridal bouquets and centerpieces. Every piece is designed with close attention to detail. No two pieces are exactly alike assuring that each wedding is one of a kind.
We have also grown along with the Anna Maria Island wedding merchants group. We are now proud members of the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce and feel blessed to have had the opportunity to serve yet another gorgeous community as Florida wedding florists
